AutoPartners is committed to protecting Members’ privacy. Personal information gathered, stored and used by AutoPartners, its associated Partners and Alliances is handled in accordance with the National
Privacy Principles.
Personal information collected and held by AutoPartners includes name, personal (home) physical and/or mailing address, phone number , fax number, email address, mobile phone number, date of birth, purchase details associated with the collection and redemption of AutoPartners Points, including
details of award purchases.
AutoPartners collects and uses personal information for the primary purpose of operating the AutoPartners program. AutoPartners also collects and uses personal information for related purposes
such as marketing, planning, product development, training nights and research requirements of AutoPartners and the participating Partners/Alliances.
Member's personal information may also be used by a participating Partner and/or Alliance for marketing, planning, product development and research purposes.
AutoPartners may also disclose personal information where required or authorised by law.
AutoPartners ensures that the necessary steps are undertaken to guarantee that Member information is secure from any unauthorised access, modification, disclosure or loss.
AutoPartners will, upon request, provide a Member with access to their personal information, unless there
is an exception which applies under the guidelines set out by the National Privacy Principles.
AutoPartners may charge a reasonable fee for supplying Members with access to this information.
Information collected prior to 21 December 2001 may not be able to be provided where to do so would place an unreasonable administrative burden or expense on AutoPartners.
